**The Role**

The Financial Coordinator will maintain documentation and records proficiently to ensure correctness and promptness of deliverables. You will handle and resolve inquiries regarding billing problems and disputes, and maintain spreadsheets for reconciliation purposes. It is essential that you execute timely processing of vendor invoices for payment, review invoices processed by Financial Administrators, communicate with vendors and employees regarding invoices and reconcile vendor statements.

Financial compliance also plays a pivotal role in this function. The Financial Coordinator is responsible for the Finance Admin team.

**Responsibilities**
- Audit incoming vendor invoices and match them with appropriate purchase orders and/or receive documents reconciling any missing data or forms
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly with outstanding invoices and/or credits and obtain copies of any missing documents
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. This involves comparing vendor invoices to the Company's records to make sure that all payments have been correctly processed
- Communicate as needed with departments, sites and vendors regarding any Accounts Payable queries
- Maintain purchase orders, invoices, and statements in an organized manner, consistent with Millat guidelines
- Maintain updated vendor files with addresses and contact information
- Verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with Millat policies
- Process payments in a timely and accurate manner through on the Accounting and electronic banking systems
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable activity. This includes keeping track of invoices, payments, and any outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing financial reports including creating financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements, as well as reports on specific financial metrics, such as cash flow and expenses
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting through collecting data, preparing budgets, and tracking expenses to ensure that the Company is on track financially
- Oversee financial compliance by ensuring that the Company is following all applicable financial regulations
- Develop and maintain digital and hard-copy filing systems, including organizing and storing invoices, payments, and other documents
- Oversee the administrative support function to the Millat Energy Finance division
- Ad hoc duties as required by the Accountant

**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric
- Financial qualification or relevant
- Experience in a retail finance environment, 3 years
- Experience on Petsol, or similar

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month
