**Scope and General Purpose of Job**

To assist all tradesmen in the performance of their duties, as per individual assignment by the
Engineering Manager in accordance with the departmental standards.

**Main Duties**
- To assist any tradesman to whom assigned in the performance of his task
- Knowledge of carpentry - Carry out Carpentry work
- Knowledge of plumbing - Repair plumbing appliances
- Regularly carry out inspections on facilities in the organization
- Repair and replace general hardware
- Repair electrical appliances
- Troubleshoot general problems
- Painting and stain removal
- Maintaining lawn.
- Ensure waste is disposed of or recycled
- To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times
- To observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work
- To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform, particularly when working in guest areas
- To perform special duties outside the scope in case of emergency, if so called upon

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Grade 12
- Engineering Studies N1, N2, N3 - Added advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in Hospitality
- Confident working independently and part of a team

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
