Our institution is looking for a versatile lecturer with experience in Hospitality and Catering modules.

Position - Lecturing experience
Working hours - Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm
Internet access at home
Good working laptop and cell phone
Modules - 9

On campus duties:
There will be a specific timetable that must be adhered to at all times. You will be provided with a lunchbreak as per the lecture timetable. The lecturer will be tasked with creating professional academic assessments throughout the semester/trimester. Needs to be on campus in KZN.

Creating online video duties:
The lecturer will be invited to 8-9 WhatsApp groups and the Google Drive where student academic work is to be uploaded and shared on a daily basis.
One video presentation is to be sent to students per week per module.
Your video must be uploaded to Google Drive a day before for evaluation. The video/handout cannot be sent to students without being evaluated.
You should present your videos with a clear white background behind you and good clear quality of video. With use of PowerPoint presentation on Windows 10/Microsoft 365.
Be clear and audible throughout the video without any background noises.

Practical duties:
The lecturer will need culinary skills and knowledge to teach students various techniques in a professional kitchen. Lecturer will also be responsible for purchasing ingredients for the practical's.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- lecturing: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- drivers license (preferred)
