SEO Specialist Assistant

**As our SEO Assistant you will be part of our Marketing Department and will work closely with the Communications and Web Development teams. Assisting our SEO specialist, you will support more than 15 international brands by making sure their websites are optimised at all times.**

**Not only are you passionate about SEO, you are also very well organised and an excellent communicator.**

**You enjoy working in an open plan office surrounded by your team members and find that the open space encourages the exchange of ideas and information.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Monthly SEO reports for all brands, including traffic to the website from all channels, leads generated, page performance and keyword positions to measure progress and identify opportunities for further optimisation
- Keyword research and monitor for new keywords to target, add to Semrush to track and SEO reports
- Content strategising to improve traffic, lead generation, and conversion rates
- Recommendations on fixing website speed / content
- Implement tracking for all websites through and Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Matomo Analytics
- Fixing website errors which are impacting SEO performance (Semrush & Screaming Frog)
- SEO on articles to be posted on all websites
- On-page for all brand websites, including optimizing copy with keywords, internal & external linking, meta titles and descriptions, headers, image alt tags, website structure, canonical tags etc.
- Off-page SEO: generate backlinks from high-authority sites, and update current listings on partner websites
- Manage and update Google Business Profile listings
- SEO recommendations for all new websites in development
- Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends and changes in Google’s Algorithms
- Recommendations to implement plugins on websites to improve SEO
- Provide stats on ad campaigns if requested via Google Analytics.

**Qualifications**:

- Great skills in Semrush, Google Analytics (Universal & GA4), Matomo Analytics (French version of GA), Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Bing Webmaster Tools, GT Metrix, Page Speed Insights, Google Search Console, Microsoft Excel
- Preferred but not required: WordPress, Keyword Hero, Jasper.ai
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1-2 years of SEO experience
- English-speaking (one more European language - French, German or Dutch will be preferred)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Work in a team environment
- Strong interest in Digital Marketing
- A good understanding of how search engines and their algorithms work
- A sharp eye for detail and an analytical mindset.
