Job DescriptionTo provide financial administration support to the business unit by maintaining accurate records for all financial transactions and managing payments and invoices, if applicable within agreed processes, procedures and timelines.

Are you someone has experience in the following:
- Preparation of reconciliations
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations by set deadlines
- Following up and resolving all long outstanding items
- Preparation of VAT reconciliations
- Preparing monthly VAT reconciliations workings
- Ensuring VAT has been correctly accounted for
- Month end and annual closing journals
- Overseeing the monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries and variance analysis
- Preparing the monthly cashbook journals and resolving long unreconciled bank accounts or allocations
- Preparing adhoc journals
- Preparation of tax packs
- Prepare and respond to tax related queries
- Preparing of the monthly tax journals.
- Fixed assets reconciliation and processing
- Preparation of the monthly fixed assets reconciliation to the general ledger
- Maintaining of the fixed asset register
- Verify that the asset clearing account is cleared to a nil balance monthly and resolve any queries.
- External audit
- Assisting with annual external audit requirements and deliverables
- Payments and invoices
- Processing supplier payments for approval
- Preparing payment requisitions
- Preparing of intercompany invoices
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Degree or NQF Level
- Have at least 2 years' experience as a financial administrator
