Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the CLIENT adheres to legal standards and in-house policies.
- Enforce regulations in all aspects and levels of business and provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Periodically review and enhance compliance programmes to meet regulatory and organisational requirements and objectives.
- Conduct and oversee internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
- Provide advice and training when non-compliance is identified.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to review, modify (if applicable), and implement organisational policies.
- Conduct or direct internal investigations of compliance.
- Inform, educate, and train employees on regulations and industry practices.
- Review and enhance plans to effectively manage compliance crises.
- Stay updated with internal standards, regulatory developments, and evolving best practices.
- Work with external and internal auditors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and business partners.
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as required.
Contract Management:
- Custodian of all contracts between the CLIENT and third parties.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate contracts.
- Prepare, draft, revise, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and other relevant parties.
- Update records and documentation related to contracts.
- Review and assess risks associated with contracts.
- Ensure proper contract management throughout projects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Ensure that all contracts due for renewal are presented to the Head of Contract Management timeously for careful consideration of renewal or going to market.
