The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, systems, and data analysis—particularly in the area of Customer Value Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing documentation.
  • Analyse and document current business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritise and define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop functional specifications and use cases to support system and software development.
  • Analyse customer data to assess customer behaviour, value segmentation, and retention strategies, providing insights that drive business decisions.
  • Work with customer value management teams to identify opportunities for increasing customer engagement and lifetime value.
  • Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments to determine potential implications of proposed solutions.
  • Provide input and recommendations for process improvements and best practices.
  • Support user acceptance testing and facilitate user training as required.
  • Maintain project documentation, ensuring version control and adherence to change management processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in customer data analysis and value management strategies.
  • Essential: Working knowledge of SQL, with experience in querying databases for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to create dashboards, visualisations, and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Fabric, including data integration, analytics, and governance capabilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other project management tools.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g. CBAP) is an advantage.
  • Ideally, experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, with an understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics.
