The main purpose of this role is to manage and maintain all procurement systems while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric with a Diploma or Certificate in Procurement, Expediting or Supply Chain Management.
  • 3 to 5 years in a Procurement Role.
  • Understanding the BBBEE Codes and Preferential Procurement Requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitating communication and coordination between internal and external stakeholders to ensure supplier processes are efficient and align with organizational goals.
  • Responsible for coordinating the procurement interactions with external vendors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing day-to-day communications regarding monitoring and compliance with legal requirements, policies, and contract terms, and ensuring supplier profiles are kept up to date.
  • Coordinate and maintain the onboarding and offboarding processes for suppliers, including completion of credit applications, upload of contracts and vendor compliance.
  • Conduct systems training for all internal and external end users.
  • Maintain a database of approved suppliers for reference and future sourcing needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts.
  • Track and monitor the company's B-BBEE certificates for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Prepare and analyse reports as well as develop any essential reports required.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams on projects and upgrades involving all procurement systems.
  • Update contact registers and catalogues on the procurement system.
  • Carry out any adhoc requests as and when required.
