The Sales Consultant - Inland is responsible for building long-term relationships with customers, working closely with customers, and acting as an all-round business consultant to identify how Arjo can assist in improving the quality and effectiveness of their care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Achieving sales targets
  2. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  3. Building relationships with potential customers for developing new business and analyzing needs
  4. Sales reporting on activities, planners, rolling forecasts, competitors info, market share, install base and database maintenance
  5. Developing and effectively managing a sales pipeline
  6. Effective territory coverage and analysis
  7. Frequent assessments in all wards of hospitals and other medical facilities (Foam, Pressure Injury Prevalence, etc.)
  8. Customer needs development through frequent demos and customer education
  9. Commissioning (installation of products) at customers
  10. In-service training on all products sold, bearing in mind shift changes of hospital staff
  11. Providing customers with solutions
  12. Providing feedback on future buying trends
  13. Representing Arjo at trade exhibitions, symposiums, events and demonstrations
  14. Liaising with operations department to check on the progress of existing orders
  15. Keeping up to date with Arjo product knowledge as well as all competitor products

Administrative Duties:

  1. Recording sales and order information and doing analysis
  2. Maintaining and communicating weekly planner and daily activities completed and outcome and/or actions to follow up on
  3. Maintaining accurate customer database
  4. CRM Execution
  5. Forecasting
  6. Effectively managing accounts receiving processes

Qualifications:

  1. Medical and/or Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification would be advantageous

Requirements:

  1. At least 3-5 years' work experience in a similar role in the Health Care Industry, with proven sales track record
  2. Minimum 5 years sales experience of medical devices
  3. Understanding of hospital processes
  4. Customer service oriented and focused
  5. Valid driver's license and reliable own vehicle
  6. Ability to work independently
  7. Available outside of normal office hours, as per customer requirements
