Job Description

To design, enhance and deliver talent acquisition specific activities and processes in order to deliver on unique and evolving business requirements underpinned by best practice to continuously enhance service delivery, by sourcing, qualifying and influencing talent for all levels and all types of positions.

  1. Identify and implement recruitment strategies and mine social media, networking sites, user groups, passive candidates, and candidate databases to create talent communities and candidate pipelines for current and future positions.
  2. Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
  3. Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
  4. Deliver customer experience excellence in service delivery aligned to organisational values and service standards.
  5. Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence and analysing trends and data.
  6. Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and overall customer targets.
  7. Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  8. Assist and support the seamless integration and implementation of effective HR processes, programs, and practices into daily operations.
  9. Contribute to the successful implementation of change initiatives by providing support related to own area of specialisation.
  10. Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvement.
  11. Consult and collaborate with business, including hiring managers and human resources partners, guiding them regarding experience and other requirements appropriate for roles identified for recruitment processes.
  12. Ensure candidates are appropriately matched to roles to prevent inefficiencies and financial losses due to increased turnover, supervision, and/or training.
  13. Find the right candidates at the right time and at the right cost, according to business plans and targets (such as employment equity).
  14. Manage end-to-end process of sourcing and delivering top talent as per agreed benchmarks.
  15. Ensure a proactive service to stakeholders by sourcing relevant talent to fulfil immediate requirements.
  16. Source and attract the highest calibre of candidates within agreed timelines.
  17. Drive utilisation of various sourcing channel methods through a central function.
  18. Identify, manage, and drive utilization of sourcing channels/tools that meet business requirements and achieve efficiencies across the company.
  19. Conduct recruitment and selection processes in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation to maintain the quality and integrity of the process.
  20. Implement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards, policy, and compliance requirements.
  21. Ensure the development, alignment, mapping, and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey map.
  22. Research, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement.
  23. Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy.
  24. Monitor customer feedback reports and align processes to maximise efficiencies.
  25. Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements.
  26. Maintain knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and internal compliance procedures and requirements.
  27. Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by the organisation.
  28. Develop an understanding of risks and risk management approaches.
  29. Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures within area of specialisation.
  30. Educate others and make suggestions for improvements.
  31. Network and participate in specialist risk forums as required.
  32. Provide input into the development of the business area tactical strategy in achievement of the overall business strategy.
  33. Develop and implement an area operational plan in achievement of business objectives.
  34. Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation.
  35. Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
