The Sales & Applications Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the sale and Applications Support of company products within an assigned territory or geographic region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provides expertise and service to customers.
  2. Gathers data on marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing.
  3. Builds relationships with customers and influences the acceptance and use of Company products.
  4. Identifies, profiles, and may service key accounts.
  5. May participate in negotiation of contracts.
  6. Designs and develops product-specific training on various discipline-specific equipment.
  7. Delivers technical and customer training to internal and external customers on new and existing product technology.
  8. Provides application support and troubleshooting to customers and engineers.
  9. Identifies potential customers and conducts market scans.
  10. Promotes products based on market analysis and customer needs.
  11. Manages logistics and ensures timely delivery to customers.
  12. Negotiates contracts and takes orders from customers.
  13. Handles site preparation and inventory management at customer sites.
  14. Follows up on compliance with contracts and customer satisfaction.
  15. Attends exhibitions, conferences, and training programs.
  16. Maintains relevant documentation and reports.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences, Clinical Pathology, or equivalent qualification.
  2. Qualified Medical Technologist with proven experience in Commercial Direct Sales and Application Support.
  3. 7-10 years' experience in a Corporate Sales environment, preferably in IVD/Medical Devices industry.
  4. Experience in laboratory management and student training.
  5. Proven experience in the full training cycle, including needs analysis, curriculum design, training delivery, and evaluation.
  6. System Knowledge: Oracle, Business Objects, SFDC (Salesforce.com), and SharePoint.
  7. Strong analytical and application troubleshooting skills.
