Are you a visionary team player with a passion for developing and designing various databases? We're looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group. Drive our franchise group's growth and success through managing, designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that turn data into knowledge, while also ensuring the efficient administration, maintenance, security, and performance of our databases.

What You'll Be Cooking Up

  1. Design, build, and deploy data architecture, data warehouses, and business intelligence solutions (dashboards, reports).
  2. Create and maintain data integration packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
  3. Monitor, maintain, and optimize database performance (including tuning queries, indexing, and troubleshooting).
  4. Perform SQL queries - design, code, test, and aggregate the results to conduct analysis and create useful information.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions.
  6. Provide continuous improvements on reporting and analytics methods.
  7. Database server administration, including database maintenance and ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
  8. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place (e.g., clustering, replication, failover).

What You Bring To The Table

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, business intelligence, or related field.
  2. Certification in Database Administration or equivalent.
  3. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  4. Experience with data warehouse design and business analysis.
  5. Understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL processes.
  6. Proficient in presenting information through reports and visualization.
  7. Skilled in SQL Server, Power BI, DAX, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
  8. Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is advantageous.
  9. Knowledge of FMCG or retail industries is a plus.
  10. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  11. Analytical and detail-oriented.
  12. Proactive with a problem-solving attitude.
  13. Business acumen and sense of urgency.
  14. Self-managed and able to function independently.
