Job Title: Construction Manager, Roads and CivilsLocation: Pretoria, South AfricaWe are currently seeking a highly experienced and competent Construction Manager to join our client's team in Pretoria. As a Construction Manager in the roads industry, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of road construction projects from planning and design to execution and delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes in the roads industry, and the ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple teams.Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and manage road construction projects from start to finishCoordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are metMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetsManage and schedule construction equipment and materialsSupervise and provide guidance to construction crews and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and protocolsProactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during constructionMaintain accurate project documentation and reportsQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in road construction and civil industryRegistration as construction manager with SACPCMPStrong leadership and project management skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesExtensive experience with Bitumen stabilised materials (BSM), reseal, slurry, road constructionKnowledge of relevant industry regulations and standardsValid driver's licenseContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
