Construction Estimator Description: Hire Resolve's client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Construction Estimator in Pretoria . We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of construction projects and providing timely and competitive bids to clients. Responsibilities: Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and materials required. Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment. Develop competitive bid proposals for construction projects. Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely bids. Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Requirements: Relevant Site Construction experience is needed. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry. Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or RSMeans. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
