Summary of the Role
- Accountable to ensure effective Planning and Delivery to customers & intercompany on time and safely by complying trade and legal regulations.
- Responsible for customer service which includes order management, dispatch, customer complaints & related activities of finished goods which include stock replenishments and inventory management.
- Responsible for logistics' arrangement & handling.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Process customer orders for the region & export, be focal point for order management.
- Interface & facilitate between SCM, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Sales & Customers.
- Monitor the Open Order report and communicate with Warehouse and Production on delivery schedules.
- Ensure commercial documents are issued in timely manner.
- Ensure the logistics chain [booking transportation, finished goods dispatch, raising invoice etc.].
- Monitor orders against forecast and report variances to the relevant teams.
- Perform Month end tasks to ensure timely submission to finance.
- Coordinate with Clearing agent, Warehouse and Production on the receipt of import shipment.
- Respond to customer queries & serve as point of contact for handling Customer grievances.
- Work with Finance and process Credit and Debit Notes when required as per Global Policy.
- Customer FOC Sample management.
- Work on and implement new processes to improve efficiency & effectiveness of Customer Service function.
- Create avenues for cost control with a focus on process re-engineering.
- Master Data management/ Handling.
REQUIREMENTS (education, experience and competencies):
Education / Certification / Experience:
- Bachelors or higher degree in supply chain, logistics or business admin.
- 3-5 Year in Customer service/ Sales coordination/ Logistics / supply chain roles.
- Knowledge of Contracts, demurrage, delivery charges, Incoterms, Letter of Credit, and other trading methods.
- Previous working exposure to SAP systems & MS Office.
