Requirements:
  • Matric (National Senior Certificate) is required
  • Draughting Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Advantageous)
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must.
  • Strong understanding of production knowledge, including dimensions and constraints related to sheet metal bending.
  • Ability to take initiative and work proactively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime at short notice when required.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify production drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with production constraints, including dimensions and sheet metal bending requirements.
  • Collaborate with the production team to hand over finalized drawings.
  • Action and update debriefed jobs as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all designs.
  • Work efficiently under tight deadlines while ensuring quality and accuracy.
