Are you a skilled and driven retail professional ready to take on an exciting leadership role? We are on the lookout for a dedicated General Store Manager to oversee the operations of our clients food and groceries retail store. If you excel in problem-solving, leadership, and operational management, we invite you to bring your expertise to our clients team.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all store operations, including stock management, orders, budgets, staffing, scheduling, and cash flow.
Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store, maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure the store meets its financial targets.
Handle regular reporting on sales, inventory, expenses, and operational performance.
Implement and maintain systems for stock control and ordering to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Take disciplinary action when necessary to uphold company standards and policies.
Solve problems effectively and efficiently, ensuring quick resolution to operational challenges.
Maintain professionalism and integrity at all times, setting an example for the team.
Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.

Key Requirements:
Proven experience in retail management, in the food and groceries sector.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
A solid understanding of accounting and finance principles, with relevant qualifications being an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in stock management, ordering, budgeting, staffing, and scheduling.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to take disciplinary action when necessary.
Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
High level of professionalism and integrity.
