Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Online Customer Support Representative to join our remote team. This role is entirely chat-based, providing our customers with real-time support and assistance through online platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable multitasking, have excellent written communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via live chat promptly and professionally. Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues while maintaining a positive experience. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary. Document interactions, feedback, and resolutions accurately in company systems. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive, personalized service. Collaborate with team members to improve chat support processes and customer experience. Stay updated on product updates, promotions, and company policies. Required Skills and Qualifications Exceptional written communication and typing skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple chats simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with chat platforms or CRM software. Patience, empathy, and a customer-first mindset. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Experience Prior experience in customer service, chat support, or online communication roles is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with CRM tools, ticketing systems, or live chat software is a plus. Working Hours Flexible working hours with potential shifts to cover different time zones. Full-time and part-time positions available. Must be able to commit to scheduled shifts and meet performance expectations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written English communication. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High degree of reliability and accountability. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
