For more information, visit Responsibilities Job Overview: Qualified Artisan with a Millwright Trade Certificate. Repairs and maintenance to all plants and machinery. Attend to breakdowns on the plant. Assist other Maintenance Artisans with complex fault finding. Ensure that all scheduled preventative maintenance is adhered to. Daily inspections of allocated machines as per maintenance plan. Basi PLC programming and automation of machines and systems in plant. Working shifts from time to time if needed and attend to breakdowns. Working standby duties. Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs. Automate and improve efficiency of machinery, plant and production lines. Perform planned maintenance on machinery and equipment. Fit, inspect, test and repair MCC, circuits and wiring systems and electrical equipment. Install and commission machinery and equipment. Qualifications Grade 12. Qualified Artisan: Millwright. 5 years’ relevant experience within the manufacturing/grain/Packing environment. Relevant Technical Trade (N3). Knowledge and experience with variable speed drives. Knowledge and experience on level sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors and flow sensors. Sound understanding and application of OSHA regulations.
