Job & Company Description: A client of mine based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced and strategic interim (CFO) to oversee the financial operations of the organization for a period of 6 months. This role requires an individual that will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, ensuring stability, and supporting domestic and international expansion plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance background within insurance, coupled with proven leadership skills and strategic acumen. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy and Planning Financial Management Mergers and Acquisitions Financial Reporting and Analysis Risk Management Leadership and Team Management Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CA(SA) qualification non-negotiable Experience: Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in insurance or financial services, with a track record of driving financial performance Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting requirements Experience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and deal structuring Experience with negotiating commercials as well as funds with African countries Skills Required: Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
