Tax Data Analyst Our financial services client seeks a Tax Data Analyst for a contract role based in Cape Town. Job Description Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources and apply relevant tax knowledge to ensure extensive accuracy thereof. Data manipulation and descriptive data analysis to ensure reasonability. Extensive analysis of relevant client financial information to ensure validity, completeness, accuracy, and correct recording into the client administration system. Perform data quality checks, reconcile and validate results, and implement solutions to support business requirements. Collate information in predetermined formats or formats developed by the individual. Extract and analyze data from various sources and integrate data accordingly to meet business objectives. Perform data manipulation and descriptive/exploratory data analysis. Simplify and communicate complex financial information. Translate complex data and/or instructions into meaningful outcomes. Interpret data and provide meaningful recommendations to the business. Minimum Requirements Matric and degree/diploma in relevant qualification. Experience analyzing financial information. A basic understanding of investments (advantageous). Basic knowledge of investments, capital gains tax, corporate actions, and foreign exchange (advantageous). Advanced Excel skills.
