Introduction An exciting opportunity has arisen at a Pietermaritzburg Client in for a dynamic and driven Marketing Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the Company's local and international marketing strategy, driving brand growth, and fostering strong relationships across multiple industry sectors. The client supports the principles of the Employment Equity Act (55 of Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups. Duties & Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies to drive business growth in both local and international markets. Oversee the company's print, online, and social media marketing presence. Build and strengthen relationships with agents and customers across sectors such as leather, water treatment, adhesives, agriculture, and mining. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends. Collaborate with agents, customers, and partners to achieve marketing objectives. Plan, coordinate, and attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events locally and abroad. Work closely with senior management to develop and refine pricing strategies. Facilitate product trials and ensure continuous customer engagement and satisfaction. Desired Experience & Qualification Grade 12 with Core Maths and Science. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A BSc in Chemistry or Agricultural Sciences, or a qualification in Leather Technology / Water Treatment, will be a distinct advantage. 5 years' experience in a similar marketing role with strong exposure to international markets. Proven success in brand positioning and growth within competitive sectors. Experience in market research, campaign management, and trade fair participation. 3–5 years' industry experience in one or more of the following: leather tanning, water treatment, mining, or agriculture. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Suite. Basic technical competence in navigating Windows and internet research. Syspro ERP experience is an advantage. Valid driver's licence, passport, and own reliable transport. Must be willing and fit to travel, both locally and internationally. #J-18808-Ljbffr
