Junior Data Scientist

We're looking for a passionate and skilledJunior Data Scientistto join our team. If you have a solid foundation in machine learning, a knack for turning data into actionable insights, and a drive to innovate, this is the perfect role for you. What You'll Do Develop & Innovate: Create statistical models and algorithms using various libraries and abstractions. Analyze & Discover: Conduct exploratory data analysis, wrangle data, and discover new insights from diverse datasets. Collaborate & Support: Work with senior data scientists and engineers to implement and deploy solutions. You'll provide insights to our BI and BA teams and help monitor and maintain models in production. Learn & Grow Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques, conduct self-development, and research best practices in the field. What You'll Need Education: A Master's or PhD in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematical Statistics, or Actuarial Science is preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a statistical and / or data science role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in a programming toolset, particularly Python or R. Experience with C, C++, or Java is a plus. Experience with large datasets and distributed computing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Foundational knowledge of machine learning , statistics , and optimization. Familiarity with data mining, data structures, and various machine learning techniques like Supervised and Unsupervised Learning . Soft Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong desire to work in cross-functional teams, and an agile mindset. What Makes You Stand Out Certifications in Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS . Any Data Science, DEVOPS, or Data Engineering certifications.
