The Role: Senior Civil Engineer This role exists to lead and deliver civil and municipal engineering design projects from concept through to construction. You will provide technical direction, ensure quality outputs, and support project efficiency across fast-paced and complex design environments. The position requires someone who can work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, authorities, and contractors. Key Responsibilities Minimum 8 to10 years of experience delivering civil and municipal engineering design projects Lead and execute full civil and municipal services designs Deliver accurate design inputs, costing, and budgeting within tight turnaround times Produce and review design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation Manage contract administration, site supervision, and construction oversightCoordinate with clients, authorities, contractors, and internal engineering teams Guide, mentor, and support junior engineers and technicians Apply design tools, including AutoCAD, Model Maker suite, Wadiso, Epanet, and similar software Ensure compliance, quality control, and adherence to engineering standards across all deliverables About You 8+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally in consulting BEng/BSc Civil Engineering (PrEng/PrTech Eng registration advantageous) Strong technical background in municipal services, civil infrastructure, and design execution Proficient in AutoCAD, Model Maker, Wadiso, Epanet, and related engineering software Experienced in contract administration and site supervision Able to manage multiple projects with accuracy and urgency Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Detail-oriented, accountable, and able to work independently while leading others Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs #J-18808-Ljbffr
