This position is for EE and non-EE candidates. They will be required to work closely with the Head of Finance to generate management accounts and perform reconciliations and analysis. The ideal candidate will be professional, business focused, always do-as-they-say, and always maintain confidentiality and adhere to protocol. Responsibilities: Prepare Management accounts to balance sheet for 3 entities. Perform and prepare balance sheet reconciliations and income statement schedules monthly. Monitor and analyse costs, identifying areas of overspending, inefficiency, or waste. Maintain financial models. Perform cost analysis. Analyse and run various sales, production, and other relevant reports. Good understanding of operational cash flow and cashflow drivers. Perform rebate and settlement discount analysis to assess customer performance. Month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and preparing accruals and adjustments as needed. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management on cost reduction strategies and operational efficiency improvements. Collaborate with finance, operations, and sales to gather data, and drive coordinated action plans. Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy in handling financial data, ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting - non-negotiable. Proven experience in management accounting in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SAGE Evolution or (JDE, SAP, Syspro will indicate ability to adapt to Evolution) Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (i.e. IFRS). Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis, reporting, and documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour in all aspects of financial analysis and decision-making.
