Chief Sales Officer

The Chief Sales Officer will oversee and lead all sales related activities and drive revenue generation strategies. Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies across the group in accordance with the business goals, identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, and maintaining and growing the group’s existing client base. The role ensures a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and channel partners. The organisation’s strategic goals, total customer satisfaction and performance objectives are to be met under this role. Your Responsibilities will include: Creating and implementing effective sales strategies across the group. Driving and overseeing revenue generation and growth by identifying new business opportunities, establishing partnerships, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and customers. Overseeing and leading the sales team, providing guidance and support, setting sales targets, tracking performance and conducting regular evaluations. Conducting market research to identify trends, competition and sales opportunities, and developing strategies to capitalize on emerging markets. Designing a competitive group commission and incentive structure. Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, and business partners. Reporting and analysing sales performance data, identifying improvement areas and implementing corrective measures to achieve sales goals. Managing the sales budget, forecasting targets, monitoring expenses and analysing financial data to ensure profitability. Managing key stakeholders and cross‑functional collaboration. The ideal candidate for the role will have the following qualifications and experience: Educational Background Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Preferred: MBA or other master’s level post‑graduate business qualification. Work Experience Minimum of 15 years proven track record in telecommunications, ICT and sales management (preferably in IoT) with at least 8 years of management experience. Thorough understanding of sales methodologies and disciplines to increase customer value, including CRM, CVM, pipeline management, channel sales etc. A natural networker, adept at establishing and cultivating relationships aligned with the company's vision and objectives. Experience operating in group and operating company environments within technology and communication companies, including working with direct sales teams and channel partners to sell products and solutions to both small and large business companies. Strong technical and commercial understanding and experience of IoT and platform‑based products, solutions and services, and ability to design commission models effectively to maximise sales while protecting margin.
