Description A major Financial Services Provider (FSP) is seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to join its Distribution Wealth division. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of key risk management activities, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to a strong culture of governance and accountability. Responsibilities Plan, execute, and manage financial and operational risk analysis and assessments Collate and compile risk reports and provide actionable feedback to management Ensure operational incidents are properly documented, investigated, and managed Maintain and enhance risk dashboards and related systems Support the development of internal risk protocols and communication strategies to strengthen awareness and compliance Monitor risk tolerance levels and recommend appropriate corrective actions Analyse and interpret risk assessment outcomes Escalate key risks or control weaknesses as needed Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders Supervise and guide direct reports Requirements 3–4 years' experience in securities, investments, IT systems, and risk management within the financial services industry Relevant degree (e.g. Accounting, Actuarial Science, Data/Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering) Programming knowledge (advantageous) Specialist understanding of regulatory frameworks such as the FAIS Act (advantageous) Professional designations such as Risk Management, CFP, or CFA (advantageous) Excellent verbal and written communication Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Resilience and adaptability Effective time management Attention to detail Proactive mindset Collaborative team player Benefits Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
