Role Overview As a Crypto Tax Specialist , you will play a critical role in advising clients, interpreting emerging regulatory frameworks, and performing complex crypto-tax computations. This role requires someone who is both technically sharp and able to operate confidently in the fast-changing crypto-asset landscape. Key Requirements Degree in Tax, Accounting, Law, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of crypto-assets Proven experience working with large datasets and transactional analytics. Ability to interpret regulatory and compliance frameworks (OECD, CRS, CARF). Strong analytical capability, technical writing skills, and high attention to detail. Experience in tax advisory or crypto-tax computations will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities Provide advisory on technical crypto-tax matters, including the interpretation and application of: OECD tax conventions Common Reporting Standards (CRS) Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) and related global regulatory developments Analyse, interpret, and reconcile data from CSV-based crypto transactional reports. Prepare crypto-tax computations, including capital gains, income classifications, cost-base analysis, and transactional alignment. Understand the inner workings, processes, and data structures of various crypto-asset service providers, exchanges, and blockchain platforms. Assist with SARS engagements, tax opinions, and audit-ready documentation. Stay updated with international best practices and emerging digital-asset tax legislation.
