Intermediate phase teacher (full-time) for English HL Curro Holdings is a JSE-listed independent schooling provider that offers quality education from the early childhood development phase to Grade 12. Curro Holdings seeks to appoint a primary school intermediate phase teacher (full-time) for English HL (Grades 4) at Curro Uitzicht in Cape Town Northern, to commence duties in January 2026 Curro Holdings is seeking to appoint a primary school intermediate phase teacher at Curro Uitzicht in Cape Town Northern. The role involves teaching and coordinating a range of subjects as per the Curro curriculum for the intermediate phase. The teacher is responsible for the active teaching, knowledge transfer, skills development and growth of positive attitudes among learners through integrated and focused teaching approaches. Key performance areas Perform teaching duties, including planning lessons using modern-day tools and processes, setting up workbooks and measuring academic improvement and achievement Review, implement, monitor and adjust the term plan as necessary, including creating customised plans to support the class pace and available lessons Manage the classroom, including classroom design and set-up for optimal performance, disciplinary rules and communication with learners and parents Set up and manage assessments (formal and continuous), including the assessment roster, revision packs and moderation Plan and manage homework per subject, including revisions and managing peer marking Plan and manage extramural activities and outings Qualifications, experience and skills BEd and in intermediate phase teaching Minimum 2 years’ experience as an intermediate phase teacher Knowledge of the CAPS curriculum Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills Please note that you will need to submit a comprehensive CV and copies of your qualifications and SACE registration as part of your online application.
