Our client in the IT managed services industry are currently seeking the skills of a L3 Support Engineer to be based in either Gauteng or Cape Town offices Main job function Expert Troubleshooting & Resolution Major Incident Management Solution Implementation Overflow & Critical Support Technical Support (Networking Technical Support (Cloud & Infrastructure Third-Party & Vendor Management Security & Compliance Automation & Scripting. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Proactive Improvement Change Management Out-of-Hours Escalations Qualifications CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Microsoft Certified: 365 Administrator (MS-102) Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent Backup certification or demonstrable experience (e.g. Veeam, Commvault, Datto) Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator (MS-600) Mimecast certification or experience Criteria Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, ideally within a managed services environment Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issuesExperience providing technical support and delivering excellent customer service Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure), Active Directory, and network administration Track record of successfully managing escalated incidents and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in high-pressure environments. Skills Expert troubleshooting and analytical skills In-depth knowledge of networking, cloud, and infrastructure technologies Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and related platforms Strong understanding of security, compliance, and backup solutions Ability to lead, mentor, and train others Strong organisational, documentation, and reporting skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
