Duties & Responsibilities Broker & Underwriting SupportManage brokers' daily diaries — scheduling, confirming, and coordinating meetings to ensure optimal productivity.Take and relay accurate messages promptly, keeping communication clear and professional.Provide full administrative support to brokers to ensure seamless client service delivery.Documentation & ReportingPrepare professional quotations, presentations, and client portfolio packs with accuracy and attention to detail.Assist in compiling underwriting reports and schedules, ensuring data is up-to-date, compliant, and well-presented.Client & Policy AdministrationPrepare and maintain detailed client fleet lists, ensuring all values and information remain accurate and current.Keep all client folders — both CRM and Google Drive — organised and updated with policy amendments, correspondence, and supporting documentation.Client & Insurer CommunicationAct as the link between brokers, clients, and insurers, ensuring smooth and timely communication of policy changes, renewals, and queries.Engage with clients professionally to provide updates and support as directed by brokers.Travel & CoordinationArrange travel logistics for brokers, ensuring plans are efficiently coordinated and communicated.Continuous Learning & DevelopmentParticipate in ongoing training to maintain FSCA compliance and stay informed of regulatory and industry updates.Strive to enhance technical underwriting knowledge and contribute to the team's overall success.Ad-Hoc SupportAssist with additional departmental or management requests, showing flexibility, initiative, and a positive team spirit. Desired Experience & Qualification Matric Certificate (essential)FSCA Compliant (essential)RE and NQF4 qualification highly advantageous (depending on date of first appointment)Minimum of 3 year's experience in commercial lines underwriting or relevant short-term insurance environmentStrong administrative, organisational, and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Package & Remuneration Negotiable #J-18808-Ljbffr
