This role is crucial for delivering in-depth analysis of the socio-political, economic, and security landscape in South Africa and the broader Southern African region. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive analysis of the geopolitical, economic, and security dynamics within South Africa and its impact on the Southern African region. Develop and deliver detailed risk assessment reports, providing strategic insights and actionable intelligence. Monitor ongoing developments in South Africa, ensuring timely and accurate communication of critical insights to support client needs and decision-making. Collaborate with ACK3’s global team of analysts to integrate South African risk assessments into broader strategic intelligence offerings. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related field, with a focus on South Africa/Southern Africa. Proven experience in risk analysis or intelligence, with specific expertise in the South African context. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
