Join to apply for the Test Analyst I role at FNB South Africa To support the software development lifecycle by executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and functionality of applications and systems. To contribute to the delivery of reliable software solutions by performing manual and automated testing under supervision, documenting results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Responsibilities Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders to achieve productivity and quality goals. Manage the execution of test activities by receiving and allocating test requirements as part of the Testing Capacity Model. Unpack requirements, including regression testing, system analysis, and reviews; create design steps from test cases and execute system validation plans, liaising with Business Analysts and technical teams to compile test scripts. Comply with IT development steps and governance regarding legislative, audit, risk, and process requirements for the Test Analysis Environment. Upgrade existing test scripts to test enhancements and new requirements and execute automated test scripts. Qualifications Minimum: Diploma or required certification in testing or programming. Preferred: Degree and/or relevant certification including ISEB/ISTQB Certification; TMap Next Engineer; ISTQB Advanced Analyst. Preferred: Banking industry experience.
