Introduction Our division that focuses on transporting commodities via the Maputo Corridor to the Maputo port is looking to bring on a dedicated individual for their Fleet Controller team. They also offer services to Durban & Richards Bay ports upon request. Purpose : The Fleet Controller will be responsible for but not limited to; fleet management & monitoring, ensuring that each vehicle reaches it's production & diesel targets, constant communication with drivers & team, administering & controlling the daily attendance of drivers, assisting in the capturing of data. Logistical experience (bulk cross border tipper) will be an advantage. Duties & ResponsibilitiesExcellent communication & relationship building skills. Excellent organising & prioritising skills. Ability to work long hours & work under pressure. Accepting & tackling demanding goals with enthusiasm, hard workmanship, commitment & willingness to put in longer hours when necessary. Ability to plan activities in advance & take account of possible changing circumstances. Ability to manage time effectively. Key Performance Areas : Production & diesel targets are met. Fleet management system is monitored & managed. Communication with drivers & team. Data is captured accurately. Documents & reports are submitted accurately & as per deadlines. Vehicle maintenance issues communicated. Vehicle services are planned & scheduled. Desired Skills, Experience & QualificationSenior Certificate. Code B driver's license & own transport. Computer Literate (MS Office). Required to travel from time to time. Available after business hours & during weekends.
