Fleet Controller Reference: PTA -JB-1 The Fleet Controller will be responsible for fleet management and monitoring, ensuring that each vehicle reaches its production and diesel targets, constant communication with drivers and the team, administering and controlling the daily attendance of drivers, and assisting in the capturing of data. Duties & Responsibilities REQUIREMENTS Senior Certificate. Code B driver's license & own transport. Required to travel from time to time. Available after business hours & during weekends. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Production & diesel targets are met. Fleet management system is monitored & managed. Communication with drivers & team. Data is captured accurately. Documents and reports are submitted accurately and as per deadlines. Vehicle maintenance issues communicated. Vehicle services are planned & scheduled. CAPABILITIES & COMPETENCIES Excellent communication & relationship building skills. Excellent organising & prioritising skills. Ability to work in a systematic, methodical & orderly manner to achieve goals consistently. Computer literate (MS Office). Ability to work long hours & under pressure. Accepting & tackling demanding goals with enthusiasm, hard workmanship, commitment & willingness to put in longer hours when necessary. Ability to plan activities in advance and take account of possible changing circumstances. Ability to manage time effectively. Logistical experience (bulk cross border tipper) will be an advantage.
