Current registration with HPCSA for 2025/2026 as a Clinical Technologist in cardiology. A minimum of three (03) years’ after registration with HPCSA of which five (05) years’ must be appropriate experience in management/Chief clinical Technologist. Candidate must be competent in all cardiac procedures and relevant experience in department operational system. Candidate must have good knowledge about how other sections of clinical Technology operates as an AD Clinical Technologist management skill is required. Knowledge and experience of supply chain processes, finance management and Human Resource operational systems. Good interpersonal skill, strategic planning and has leadership skill. Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, ability to work independently to achieve goals of the institution (CHBAH). Candidate must have good computer skill, time management skill, excellent report / motivation writing skill and has a good understanding and use of conflict resolution strategy. Duties Provision of Clinical service in compliance with policies, procedures and standard as set out by the institution, provincial and national authorities. Coordinate all operational activities and programs of Clinical technologists across spatiality barriers and provide management duties to ECG supervisor and all ECG assistants in the department (cardiology). Departmental staff administration and management duty. Coordinate training of Clinical Technology students. Maintenance and procurement of departmental equipment’s. Coordination of staff training in various aspects of cardiac health care systems. Check equipment’s regularly to comply with safety requirements. Promote and ensure staff punctuality, attendance and accountability in the unit. To participate and supervise clinical research projects of Clinical Technologist students and departmental research projects. Participate in all provincial activities organized by Department of Health and private sector (Medical equipment companies). Monitor compliance among staff in the unit.
