We are looking for a Product Manager with proven experience in lending product management and development to lead our Personal Loans and Revolving Facility portfolios. Your role will involve guiding the strategic vision and overseeing the creative process of a specialist team to deliver innovative, customer‑centric solutions. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions. Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency. Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end‑users, SME's, project managers and senior staff members. Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders. Develop a product strategy aligned to business strategy to ensure business growth and sustainability. Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress. Implement and maintain sound business processes that minimise FNB risk and deliver quality requirements specifications. Findings that arise as a result of internal or external audit and client management and risk. Manage designated product development projects from inception to final execution, including post‑implementation evaluation. Initiate and manage market research, data mining and quantitative analysis to ensure sustainability and future competitive growth. Explore local and international markets for new products and trademarks to expand and strengthen the business' market position. Facilitate the conversion of knowledge and ideas into new or improved products, processes and services. Manage own development to increase own competencies. Qualifications and Skills Financial Acumen – Understanding banking products, financial statements, credit risk, and regulatory requirements. Strategic Thinking – Aligning product strategies with business goals and market opportunities. Technical Literacy – Knowledge of digital banking platforms, APIs, and fintech integrations. Project Management – Ability to manage timelines, stakeholders and resources effectively. Problem‑Solving – Structured approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions. Communication & Stakeholder Management – Strong interpersonal skills for cross‑functional alignment. Innovation & Adaptability – Staying ahead of trends and embracing new technologies. Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge – Familiarity with Basel III, AML, KYC and other banking regulations. Data Analysis & Interpretation – Proficiency in using data to drive decisions and analyse trends. Customer‑Centric Mindset – Deep understanding of customer needs and pain points to design impactful products. Required Qualifications BCom or Engineering Degree equivalent to an NQF Level 7. 3 – 5 years' experience in management. 3 – 5 years of experience in the Fintech or telecommunications industry.
