Job title: AI Business Solutions and Security Finance Manager - Africa Cluster Job Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Deadline: November 24, 2025 Overview AI Business Solutions and Security Finance Manager in the Africa Sub-area is the Finance partner to the STU and GTM Leads. The successful candidate will develop deep subject matter expertise on our end-to-end product stack under AI business solutions ranging from M365 to Copilot and our Security solutions to deliver actionable insights to business partners as well as the commercial finance team & CFOs. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field with demonstrated experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or a related area; or a Master’s Degree in one of these fields with proven professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance. OR equivalent experience This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational English Preferred Qualifications Extensive years of experience in finance or finance leadership positions Experience in Multinationals with multi-product / multi-segment finance roles Responsibilities Partnership Drive AI Business Solutions and Security growth in the Geo through deep analytics forward and backwards (deployment, active usage & upsell). Shares business insights and advances solutions and actions plans to drive business and commercial leader goals and short-term accountabilities. Leverage Corp models and analytics and community best practices to provide actionable insights through the segment controllers and CFOs. Understand competitive market insights, provide thought leadership to challenge GTM leads & STU around new business opportunities / growth roadmap landscape. Increase premium mix, understand and drive upsell motions to higher profit products (M365, E3 to E5) and co-pilot seats. Go-to person on any technical topics pertaining to AI Business solutions products for the Finance organization within the Area. Drives improvements in data management through AI & automation. Applies understanding of advanced technology to accomplish business goals and to provide greater depth of analysis. Prioritization Performs and reviews analysis of present and future financial performance, financial plans (e.g., expected returns, resource allocation, investment opportunities) and economic transactions (e.g., customer deals, commercial partnerships, etc.) for AI Business & security products. Understand competitive market insights, provide thought leadership to challenge business leads around new business opportunities and growth roadmap landscape. Delivers results through tracking performance, report accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results. Manages the rhythm of the business for area of responsibility including monthly close, recurring business review preparation, and future looking views. Generates relevant and actionable insights to drive the business forward. Controls & Compliance Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance. Influences leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modeled throughout the organization. Drives a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust. Champions Microsoft privacy, security, and ethical standards. Key indicators of success Insightful analysis provided to business based on analytical framework & generated opportunity / new business pipeline Co-pilot, M365, E5 and Security growth, usage and seats Team delivered actionable insights to drive topline revenue, new business growth and maximize ROI.
