We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:An appropriate academic and professional qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. At least five years’ experience in a similar position. Current SACE registration. IEB experience. A clear criminal record. The responsibilities are: Working together with the executive head and school leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning practice. Performing the duties of a teacher and phase head. Promoting a healthy process of reciprocal informal observation of class teaching practices. Advising and contributing to curriculum development at school. Coordinating the teaching and learning of the phase. Setting examination papers, coordinating marking rosters and moderating examinations and assessment processes. Mentoring other teachers in the phase. Holding and leading regular departmental meetings and ensuring the keeping of minutes. Actively assisting the executive head in ensuring good professional practice, standards, and quality of teaching and learning of subject/s in the school through proper dialogue with the class teachers. Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school. The successful candidate will start on 01 January 2026.
