Assurecloud Food Auditor, Cape Town SafetySA, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Job Purpose To conduct food safety audits at retail food establishments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, client-specific requirements, and internal procedures. The auditor will assess food safety practices, report findings, and support continuous improvement in food safety management. Closing Date 25 November 2025 Key Responsibilities Conduct food safety audits in line with client and AssureCloud standards. Evaluate food premises, hygiene practices, and documentation against audit criteria. Perform opening and closing meetings with store management. Complete Client Confirmation Slips and resolve disputes professionally. Prepare accurate audit reports and ensure quality checks before submission. Maintain audit KPIs and meet client turnaround times. Apply risk assessment principles during audit planning and execution. Travel to audit sites, including weekends (overtime policy applies). Ensure audit tools and PPE are clean, functional, and compliant. Follow company policies for travel and accommodation logistics. Observe food preparation, storage, handling, and transport practices.
