Head : Change Management & Agile Transformation

Overview Change Management & Agile Transformation Head – Santam Head. This senior management role is based in Gauteng or Western Cape and is integral to our digital transformation journey. You will partner with key stakeholders and sponsors to deliver enterprise‑wide change across the Santam Group, the Santam Intermediary and Tied agent community, and embed a culture of agility and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Change Management – develop and implement enterprise‑wide strategies, assess impacts, design stakeholder engagement plans and foster a culture of continuous learning and resilience. Agile Transformation – lead the design, implementation and scaling of Agile methodologies, coach teams, drive continuous improvement and manage the Agile Center of Excellence. Leadership & Stakeholder Management – influence executive leadership, manage a team of change and Agile professionals, engage business units and external partners, and ensure strong communication across teams. Performance & Continuous Improvement – define KPIs, track adoption, mitigate risks, stay ahead of industry trends, and ensure all projects align with Santam and Sanlam Group risk and financial policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, organisational psychology or a related field. 8+ years of experience in change management, Agile transformation or business transformation (preferably in insurance or financial services). Strong knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean and frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter’s Change Model. Proven track record leading large‑scale change initiatives and Agile transformations. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and coaching skills. Experience in governance frameworks, financial services and large complex organisations. High stress tolerance, client‑service orientation, and strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
