2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Responsibilities IMS Lead auditor is responsible for audits for at least 3 ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001). Planning of own working time in accordance with the requirements of the audit schedule. Allocating work to the audit team in accordance with the assignments given on the audit schedule. Preparing the audit plan and ensuring that it reaches the client at least 10 working days before the audit is scheduled to start (exception: in the case of short‑notice audits, the audit plan is to be sent to the client as soon as possible). Preparing audit documents and personal audit working documents in accordance with the internal requirements and timelines of TÜV Rheinland SOP’s. Act as the primary contact with the audit client, representing both TÜV Rheinland and the audit team; chair all audit meetings; prevent/resolve conflict between audit team members and auditees. Maximise use of audit resources, by organising and directing audit team members and re‑assigning tasks as necessary. Collect objective evidence by reviewing documentation, interviewing auditees, observing auditees as they carry out their duties, and (if applicable) examining the outputs of auditees’ activities; record this evidence in "Audit Notes". With the assistance of audit team members, classify audit findings and prepare audit reports and nonconformity reports. Promote a positive professional image, including wearing PPE as required by the client. Submit completed audit packs by uploading to ACDC/Tiger within five working days of the audit’s end. Submit completed audits for review on ACDC. Respond to pack‑related queries from the reviewer or back office, including submission of corrected or missing audit documents within two working days and until the audit is released on ACDC. In cases where there are nonconformities, liaise with the audit client regarding close‑out; perform re‑audits if required; submit nonconformity to ACDC/Tiger. Make recommendations to the Certification Body regarding certification, continued certification, or suspension/withdrawal of certificates. Respond to customer questions relevant to the audit and certification processes. Inform the Systems Certification General Manager of customer complaints, and raise these on the CAPA system. Attend staff meetings, auditor experience exchanges, customer focus days, and training sessions, as required by the Systems Certification General Manager. Coach and mentor Auditors‑In‑Training and Lead Auditors‑In‑Training. Perform monitoring of other auditors, as necessary. Take responsibility for maintaining the auditor appointment. When necessary, assist the Marketing Team by visiting clients to provide technical support. Implement and adhere to the TÜV Rheinland South African Group management system requirements. General Implement and adhere to the TÜV Rheinland South African Group management system requirements. Administration related to the position must be completed within relevant company timelines (e.g. CATS activity recording to be completed on a weekly basis). Maintain good communication between back office, client, and auditor at all times. Complete HR and other company training and/or meetings as required.
