IMS Lead Auditor

·    IMS Lead auditor is responsible for audits for at least 3 ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO

·    Planning of own working time in accordance with the requirements of the audit schedule.

·    Allocating work to the audit team in accordance with the assignments given on the audit schedule.

·    Preparing the audit plan and ensuring that it reaches client at least 10 working days before the audit is scheduled to start (Exception: in the case of short-notice audits, audit plan to be sent to client as soon as possible).

·    Preparing audit documents and personal audit working documents in accordance with the internal requirements and timelines of TÜV Rheinland SOP's.

·    Act as primary contact with the audit client, representing both TÜV Rheinland and the audit team; chair all audit meetings; prevent/resolve conflict between audit team members and auditees

·    Maximise use of audit resources, by organising and directing audit team members and reassigning tasks as necessary

·    Collecting objective evidence by means of review of documentation, interviews with auditees, observation of auditees as they carry out their duties, and (if applicable) examining the outputs of auditees' activities; recording this evidence in "Audit Notes"

·     With the assistance of audit team members, classifying audit findings and preparing of audit reports and nonconformity reports

·     Promoting a positive professional image, including the wearing of PPE as required by the client.

·     Submitting completed audit packs by uploading to ACDC/Tiger within five working days of the end of the audit

·     Submitting Completed audits for review on ACDC

·     Responding to pack-related queries from reviewer or back office, including submission of corrected or missing audit documents, within 2 working days and until the audit is released on ACDC

·     In cases where there are nonconformities, liaising with the audit client regarding close out; performing re-audits if required; submitting nonconformity to ACDC/Tiger.

·     Making recommendations to the Certification Body regarding certification, continued certification, or suspension/withdrawal of certificates

·    Responding to customer questions relevant to the audit and certification processes

·    Informing the Systems Certification General Manager of customer complaints, and raising these on the CAPA system

·    Attending staff meetings, auditor experience exchanges, customer focus days, and training sessions, as required by the Systems Certification General Manager

·    Coaching and mentoring Auditors-In-Training and Lead Auditors-In-Training

·    Performing monitoring of other auditors, as necessary.

·    Taking responsibility for maintaining his/her appointment as an auditor

·    When necessary, assisting the company's Marketing Team by visiting clients to provide technical support

·    When necessary, assisting the company's Marketing Team by visiting clients to provide technical support

·    Implement and adhere to the TÜV Rheinland South African Group management system requirements

General

·     Implement and adhere to the TÜV Rheinland South African Group management system requirements.

·     Administration related to position must be completed within relevant company timelines. For example CATS activity recording to be completed on a weekly basis.

·     Good communication between back office/client, and auditor must be always maintained.

·     HR and other company training and/or meetings should be completed/attended as required.
