Website Content Assistant

Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable junior Website Content Assistant to support the day-to-day maintenance of our websites. You’ll play a hands-on role in uploading and updating content, ensuring everything on our sites is accurate, up-to-date, and visually consistent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in digital content, marketing, or web administration. Key Responsibilities: Upload and update content (text, images, PDFs) across various pages using our content management system (CMS) Maintain consistency in formatting, layout, and branding across all web content Perform regular quality checks to ensure links work, images load correctly, and content displays properly Resize and optimise images for web use where required Assist with basic data entry for product listings, blogs, service pages, and resource libraries Follow internal checklists or SOPs for publishing workflows Coordinate with team members to ensure content is uploaded on time Flag and troubleshoot minor technical issues or content discrepancies What We’re Looking For: Some experience with WordPress (coursework or internship experience is fine) Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Basic understanding of how websites are structured and how content is formatted online Comfortable working independently and following structured processes Eagerness to learn and grow within a digital or marketing team environment Bonus Points: Familiarity with basic HTML or web formatting Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools Exposure to SEO basics or Google Analytics Interest in digital marketing and web design Understanding of SEO Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Part-time Job function Job function Management and Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Tax Consulting South Africa by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Content Assistant” roles.
