Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner who is adaptable, analytically minded, a strong problem-solver, an excellent communicator, and eager to drive improvements. Who are Future Forex? Our mission is to transform the Forex industry in South Africa through premium support, automation, innovation (ie. Blockchain), and complete transparency. In addition to this, we also continue to enhance our Crypto Arbitrage investment product, which to date yields returns leagues ahead of traditional investments, making it one of the best-performing investment products in South Africa. The opportunity To grow our service offering, we need to enhance our existing platform, expand our service with new features, and begin to look beyond the local Forex space at other exciting opportunities. We are looking for a Product Owner who is adaptable, smart, confident working autonomously and keen to help us make the above a reality What you’ll do Develop streamlined products for our Forex and Arbitrage services Plan and manage projects end-to-end Put yourself in the client’s shoes to develop the best possible user experience Understand, systemise and document business processes Coordinate with our operations team, engineering team, and other stakeholders to iron out processes and develop holistic solutions Quality control new features to ensure they’re up to spec Continuously analyse, improve and adapt existing products What you’ll need At least 2 years' experience in a product, or similar, role Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. Engineering, data analytics, etc) Experience in the finance space is beneficial, but not necessary Excellent problem-solving, with the ability to quickly map out a MVP The ability to wear multiple hats to work with a multitude of teams and solve a variety of problems Strong UX/UI intuition to guide early designs Technical know-how to effectively work with the engineering teams Highly organised with an affinity towards keeping things neat and tidy Sound communication skills to coordinate teams effectively Deliverable focused with an eye for detail A start-up mindset, comfortable with products failing and having to be rapidly iterated Comfortable as a self-starter working remotely What it’s like to work here We’re deliverable focused: Working a set number of hours a week is not important to us.
