Requirements
  • At least 5 years experience in a Financial Management role, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting.
  • Proven track record of managing a financial team with varying personalities.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in risk management and financial instruments.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software (SAGE) and Excel.
Duties
  • Manage the finance department consisting of 5 members.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability, driving the company's financial success.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Create and monitor forecasts
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring proper allocation and investment of funds.
  • Manage forex including forward cover contracts.
  • Manage investments to maximize return and control risk.
  • Manage risk through insurance, hedging and other financial instruments, ensuring the company's financial stability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive growth.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records, transactions and documentation.
  • Oversee Payroll processes, checks and approval.
  • Manage VAT and TAX submission and reporting.
  • Monthly closures and EXCO reports.
  • Input to sister companies.
  • Audit Management and control.
  • Consolidated financials.
  • Oversee ad hoc financial functions.
  • Reporting to the Managing Director.
