* Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Asset management to maintain buildings, structures, equipment and machinery in standard conditions.
* Conduct inspections, breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
* Annual shutdown action plan, resource allocation and execution.
* Attend and react to standby and call-outs expediently.
* Act as a Health and safety custodian and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
General housekeeping.
* Maintain manufacturing / production of electrically driven machines, and electronic control gear equipment.
* Diagnose and execute fault-finding and repairs on equipment failures to effectively minimise machine and equipment downtime.
* Maintenance, reconstruction and installation of machinery and equipment.
* Propose modifications to machines and equipment for better performance or Health and Safety improvements.
* Financial controls of maintenance budgets.
* Training of maintenance team and mechanical- and electrical trainees / learners
