* Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Asset management to maintain buildings, structures, equipment and machinery in standard conditions.* Conduct inspections, breakdowns and preventative maintenance.* Annual shutdown action plan, resource allocation and execution.* Attend and react to standby and call-outs expediently.* Act as a Health and safety custodian and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations. General housekeeping.* Maintain manufacturing / production of electrically driven machines, and electronic control gear equipment.* Diagnose and execute fault-finding and repairs on equipment failures to effectively minimise machine and equipment downtime.* Maintenance, reconstruction and installation of machinery and equipment.* Propose modifications to machines and equipment for better performance or Health and Safety improvements.* Financial controls of maintenance budgets.* Training of maintenance team and mechanical- and electrical trainees / learners
