Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with CEO to conceptualize and develop new fitness apparel collections.
  • Conduct market research to identify current fashion trends and consumer preferences in activewear.
  • Source products, materials and fabrics from our supplier, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to management for feedback and approval.
  • Create technical sketches and specifications for production.
  • Assist in the selection of colors, patterns, and styles that align with our brand identity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to ensure our designs remain competitive.
  • Participate in fittings and provide constructive feedback to enhance fit and functionality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, particularly in fitness apparel.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for design and fitness.
  • Experience in sourcing materials is a plus, but not required.
