About the Role This is a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role within a specialist Credit Risk team. You will collaborate with experienced actuaries, quantitative analysts, statisticians and risk experts to deliver cutting‑edge solutions to banks, corporates and institutions across diverse sectors. Duties & Responsibilities What You’ll Be Doing Develop and calibrate credit risk models including PD, LGD and EAD Validate and monitor IFRS 9 impairment and regulatory models Deliver portfolio credit analytics, benchmarking and peer analysis Create scorecards, behavioural pricing frameworks and risk strategy models Contribute to audit support, regulatory compliance and advisory engagements Present findings and solutions to clients in well‑structured reports Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a high‑performing team culture What You Need Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering or a related field 35 years of relevant experience in credit risk modelling or financial services consulting Strong understanding of the credit lifecycle, model development processes and IFRS 9 and Basel regulations Coding proficiency in SAS, R or Python (SAS Enterprise Guide an advantage) Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and business acumen You’ll Thrive If You Have : Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to work with cross‑functional teams and build client relationships Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members Comfort working in a hybrid model balancing autonomy with collaboration A passion for quality, innovation and continuous learning Why Join Us Be part of a team delivering real impact in financial services and treasury operations Work on challenging high‑profile projects across Africa and global markets Enjoy a hybrid working environment with a strong focus on flexibility and team culture Access career‑defining learning development and leadership pathways Be part of a diverse and inclusive team that values transformation and progress Please send CV to Should you not hear from us within two weeks please consider your application unsuccessful.
